ABOUT ME

I’m a pianist, with academic background in Jazz and classical music.

Since I was young I have always been interested in composition and original music, I took advantage of my university years in Rome and Paris to deepen my knowledge in this field and develop my own musical language. Active on the music scene in Paris and Rome, I’m part of several bands, different by style.

I’m also a professional music producer & composer, I wrote the soundtrack for several short-films and video clips and arrangements from small combo to big band and orchestra

Teaching

Alongside my work as a performer and composer, I am a music teacher.
Music is my life and I love being able to pass my knowledge, my experience and my passion.
I've started teaching since I earned my degree at conservatory and can prove a long experience teaching students of all ages and any level.

Approach

We will start by studying the basis of piano technique through training being careful to relax the muscles of the shoulders and arms, thus preventing injuries.
At the same time, we will study a piece of music of your choice, according to your level, and will discover all the harmonic and interpretative aspects.
Finally, I will help you training your musical ear and the rhythmic feeling through Ear Training
This methodology is not fixed but adapts to your objectives and your wishes.
During the course, I will let you play the piano most of the time to get familiar with the instrument.
